Few Weeks Back

I recently played in a 4.5+ session with some friends at home after Thanksgiving and did pretty well. I’m surprised as I was lowkey trash for not really playing routinely for the past 2 months on the road.

Went to the grand opening of PickleBOS, which in my opinion is one of the nicest facilities actually in Boston. I’ll be playing there frequently, so come check it out.

Got asked to play in the Eleven O tournament in a week with a good friend, Hagop. It non-DUPR and is more of a fun tournament to celebrate the grand opening. I need to remind myself to take it easy as I do get really into games on the court haha.

Had friends tell me how excited they are about me being home and that we can finally play more together. Means alot and I’m excited too.

Biggest takeaway: Play with people who you enjoy and want you there vs those that drain you. Pickleball should be fun.

Thanksgiving was awesome. Good food, good company, and alot to be thankful for. My niece Marcie is 3 months old and visiting from ATL. She is absolute cuteness. I can’t wait to show her pickleball. She reminds me of how cool it would be to be a dad someday, and then I see her used diapers and immediately am happy to just be an uncle at the moment.

Hosted a board game night with 16 people. Played Codenames had a ton of fun. Anyone can get the smoke in Codenames.

Got the new Iphone 17 Pro Max. For business of course.

Went from 213lbs to 209lbs. Slow and steady progress.

A bit disappointed that I haven’t been able to slow down as much as I would like. My friend insisted I interview with his tech company. I have thought a little bit about Cali and Seattle, but need to make more time to reflect on it.

Had a rally where my partner and I defended 6+ overheads and ended up having our opponent hit the ball into the net. Couldn’t help but laugh at how crazy that was. Was pure fun.

Volair Keith Haring Bag- Definitely one of the creative and coolest bags in the game. I love mine and it’s eye catching.

Continuing to recalibrate back to “normal” and having more structured routines at home. Excited for what’s next regardless.
